A group fight was reported Thursday evening outside J’s Liquor in Gardena, according to a Citizen app alert. The incident was reported at 6:24 p.m. at 14627 Crenshaw Blvd.
The initial 911 call said five to 10 people were involved in a violent physical altercation outside the store. Los Angeles County sheriff’s South Los Angeles Station deputies responded to the scene.
Authorities were working to assess the situation and control the people involved. It was not immediately clear whether anyone had been arrested or injured.
The situation was still developing.
