A fire that started in an RV early Tuesday morning spread to a nearby warehouse in South Los Angeles, according to emergency reports.
The blaze was reported at 5:47 a.m. at 1533 E. 23rd St. in Los Angeles. Flames that began in a parked RV quickly spread to an adjacent steel warehouse, creating a larger fire scene.
Fire crews responded under the jurisdiction of the Newton Police Station area and began suppression efforts right away. Firefighters had already knocked down one side of the fire and entered the metal warehouse to put out remaining hot spots.
Crews were still working to fully extinguish the fire, and officials said it was not yet clear whether anyone was injured.
