BTS’ Jimin Wins iHeartRadio’s K-pop Song of the Year as Stray Kids, ATEEZ Claim Major Honors
BTS member Jimin, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ have secured major victories at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, celebrating another triumphant year for K-pop’s global influence.
According to the winners list revealed on the iHeartRadio website on March 17, Jimin’s solo hit “Who” claimed the prestigious “K-pop Song of the Year” award. The track has demonstrated remarkable longevity, maintaining a 32-week consecutive presence on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Stray Kids took home “K-pop Album of the Year” for their mini-album “ATE,” which previously topped Billboard’s main album chart Billboard 200. The octet has continued to expand their global reach with chart-topping releases and stadium performances throughout 2024.
ATEEZ, who dominated 2024 with their “GOLDEN HOUR” album series and sold-out world tour, was named “K-pop Artist of the Year,” further cementing their status as one of the genre’s most dynamic acts.
Rising girl group ILLIT, who burst onto the scene with their hit “Magnetic,” secured the “K-pop Best New Artist” honor, highlighting their impressive debut year.
In the fan-voted “Favorite K-pop Dance Challenge” category, TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun’s “GGUM” earned the top spot, demonstrating the continued importance of viral choreography in K-pop’s global appeal.
The iHeartRadio Music Awards, established in 2014 by the American online radio broadcaster, has increasingly recognized K-pop’s influence with dedicated categories that highlight the genre’s growing impact on global music.
