Asian-American K-pop group RE:WIND has officially debuted with their first single “FOREVER,” a Y2K-inspired track blending Western pop nostalgia with modern K-pop flair. Based in the United States, the group joins a growing movement of Asian-American artists shaping the genre’s global evolution.

RE:WIND features three members: Eddie (Korean-American, Los Angeles), Elaya (Japanese-Spanish-American, New York City), and Lei (Chinese-American, Boston). All three were once idol trainees in South Korea but stepped away from the industry due to challenges such as age limits and the personal toll of life abroad. Now, under U.S.-based label Allele Entertainment, they return to the spotlight with renewed purpose.

The name RE:WIND reflects their journey: “What would life look like if I had the chance to rewind?” That question defines their identity, grounded in second chances and creative resilience.

“FOREVER” draws inspiration from early 2000s pop icons including NSYNC, Britney Spears, Shinee, and Shinhwa. The song follows their pre-release track “RE:SET,” which garnered over 20,000 streams in its debut week — a promising sign of growing interest.

Their music video, released on March 28th, showcased vibrant visuals, high-energy choreography, and a narrative twist that reflects the fantasy and reality of pop stardom.
